Harris was a four-time Super Bowl champion and the Super Bowl IX MVP during his career. He gained 12,120 yards on the ground. 

He was a Pro Bowler nine times, an Associated Press First-Team All-Pro in 1977, and an AP Second-Team All-Pro in 1972 and 1975. In 1972, he was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and AFC Rookie of the Year.
