Waters said that around 8.55 on the evening of June 7, 2021, Paul Murdaugh emailed a smartphone video to a buddy.

The voices of Paul, Maggie, and Alex Murdaugh were captured on film near the dog kennels on the family's 1,100-acre hunting property.

Paul Murdaugh's cell phone was locked three minutes later and was not used again that night.

That footage is noteworthy since Alex Murdaugh had denied being near the dog kennels, which the video appears to clearly contradict.

Prosecutors claim Alex Murdaugh shot and murdered his wife and kid at 8:49 p.m., barely minutes after the video was recorded.

They claim he then contacted his wife's phone after her death in an attempt to fabricate an alibi.
