The knee surgery for Kyler Murray is scheduled on the 3rd January 2023
The Cardinals quarterback will undergo surgery to repair his torn ACL on January 3 in Dallas, according to NBC’s Melissa Stark, who made the announcement during the Cardinals’ game against the Buccaneers on Sunday night.
Murray’s surgery would take place sometime after Christmas, according to coach Kliff Kingsbury.
The timeline for Murray’s return, according to the report, would be nine months, or roughly four games into the season in October 2023.
The Dallas Cowboys team doctor would perform the procedure, according to Stark as well. Daniel Cooper, a doctor, would be that. The fact that Murray is from the Dallas area and that his family lives there doesn’t hurt.
Still unknown is where Murray will spend the majority of his rehabilitation.
Murray has been undergoing prehab at the Tempe facility, and his father Kevin has been transporting him there and back because Kyler is unable to drive due to the injury.
