Walmart Shooting: Tuesday night US Police state of Virginia reported that a shooter killed up to 10 people inside a Walmart supermarket in Chesapeake.

The authorities reported that more than 10 people were shot and killed at a Walmart store in Virginia. 

The Gunman shooter was also dead, the Chesapeake tweeted on Tuesday. It said: “Chesapeake Police confirm an active shooter incident with fatalities at the Walmart on Sam’s Circle. The shooter is deceased.”

This was the nation’s second high-profile mass shooting in as 3 days including the Colorado Case.

Police have not given detailed reports, and they don’t know how many shooters are there, but they sailed there the shooter man is dead. 

A Walmart salesperson Leo Kosinski and the US police department take a news conference and told that police got shooting reports at 10 pm then they arrived to find multiple fatalities.

According to Kosinski’s statements, the shooting has been stopped when the police arrived. He added that he didn’t think the police had fired any shots, but he was unable to confirm whether the shooter had self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Although it was not clear how many people had died, Kosinski claimed: the source says that 10 had passed away including the shooter.

After the city established a reunification site at the Chesapeake Conference Center for those family members who may have been present at the Walmart and the dead list.

U.S. Senator from Virginia, Mark Warner tweets “Sickened by reports of yet another mass shooting, this time at a Walmart in Chesapeake. I’ll be monitoring developments closely. In the meantime, I urge all those in the community to listen to guidance from local law enforcement and stay away from the scene.”

In a tweet, Virginia state Senator Louise Lucas, a Democrat who represents the Chesapeake region, which includes Chesapeake, is 

“heartbroken that America’s latest mass shooting occurred in a Walmart in my district.” “I will not rest until we find solutions to our country’s gun violence epidemic that has taken so many lives,” she said.

U.S. Representative of Virginia Bobby Scott has tweeted:” Tragically, our community is suffering from yet another incident of senseless gun violence just as families are gathering for Thanksgiving. My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.”

Three days prior to the shooting in Virginia, a gunman in Colorado shot at a gay nightclub, with 5 people dead and 17 injured. The nonbinary shooter was taken into custody after being tackled by clubgoers. The shootings occur in the same year that a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, claimed 21 lives, and shook the US.

The shooting on Tuesday also brought back memories of a Walmart shooting in 2019, when a shooter who authorities say was targeting Mexicans opened fire and killed 22 people. There was no security guard working that day at Walmart.
