Morgan Riddle‘s impact on Wimbledon semifinalist Taylor Fritz‘s ascent up the rankings has been tremendous. He says this himself.
Riddle has gone to the All England Club and other events this year as a fashion influencer, assuring her hundreds of thousands of social media followers that tennis has become “the chicest sport in the world.” She has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and the New York Times Style section.
She sat at Centre Court on Friday for her boyfriend Fritz’s match against Carlos Alcaraz.
Riddle regularly attends tournaments to root for him. They appeared in Netflix’s tennis documentary “Break Point.”

Morgan Riddle moved from Minnesota to New York and did many internships.
Riddle, 27, is a Minneapolis native who attended Wagner College in New York City.
“By the end of my junior year, I had completed seven internships,” she said in a Wagner College film featuring the Class of 2019 member.
Riddle added that the internships comprised positions at a magazine, a newspaper, a government office, a coffee business startup, and a real estate firm, with responsibilities including social media.
Riddle and Fritz met around five years ago.

Fritz finished second in the U.S. Open in September, his first participation in a Grand Slam final, and rose to a career-high ranking of No. 4 in November.

He believes it is critical to have someone “pushing you in the right direction all the time, supporting you.” He discussed Riddle’s involvement during his quarterfinal triumph against Karen Khachanov, which went 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(4).
“There’s an obvious correlation between my results and ranking and the time we’ve been together,” he told me. “I would have to say she’s been a big help to me, just kind of keeping me focused, having someone who cares and just pushes you to just do better and do the right things, be healthier.”
Morgan Riddle pushes fashion and defines ‘tenniscore’.
Riddle collaborated with the All England Club to make video pieces titled “Wimbledon Threads.”
She wears Chanel and Jimmy Choo and discusses trends like “tenniscore.”

“‘Tenniscore’ isn’t just about pleated skirts and vintage polos. It’s about aspirational simplicity with a competitive edge,” she said in a video titled “How Wimbledon turned tennis stylish” released last week.
She also said that Wimbledon had “helped tennis become the chicest sport in the world.”
Riddle isn’t hesitant to deliver a few zingers.
“Of course, we’re here for the tennis, but what was once just a sports event has evolved into a worldwide fashion extravaganza. “I know some of you don’t want to hear that, but just because it bothers you doesn’t make it any less true,” she remarked.
As of Friday, the clip had 12,300 views, but another Wimbledon video depicting a toddler asking Aryna Sabalenka about pancakes had more than twice that number.

Riddle’s TikTok videos, where she has almost 600,000 followers, are more popular. She also has over 450,000 followers on Instagram.
Fritz often photographs her and posts them on social media.
“I’ve definitely gotten a lot better over the last couple of years, but very reluctantly,” he told The Associated Press last year. “It’s incredibly humiliating in public when I’m snapping photographs of her and everyone looks at me. But you’ve got to do what you have to do at times. She also takes wonderful photographs of me.”
