Authorities say a Georgia town is in grief after two students and two instructors were murdered in a shooting at Apalachee High School on Wednesday morning.
Another nine people were brought to hospitals with injuries, but all are expected to recover, according to Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey.
The suspect, a 14-year-old kid, is in jail and will face adult charges, according to the GBI.
Hosey recognized the four fatalities on Wednesday evening, ranging in age from 14 to 53 years old. Here’s what we know about the four people killed:

Richard Aspwall
Richard Aspinwall, 39, was a teacher at Apalachee High School, according to the GBI.
According to the school’s website, Aspinwall worked as a math instructor and defensive coordinator for the football team.
“As our community, school, and football program begins the mourning process, we are so grateful for the outpouring of support,” the football team said on X. “We shall miss our great defensive coordinator, Ricky Aspinwall. “We love you, Coach A!!!”
Christine Irimie
Christina Irimie, 53, was a math teacher at Apalachee High School, according to the GBI.
