Bryan Kohberger, the accused quadruple killer, is driving one lady insane — in love. Brittney Hislope is adamant that he is the “ideal man” for her.

“My love interest… is named Bryan and is accused of murder, and I really desire to connect with him above anybody else,” the 35-year-old Kentucky single mom of a 16-year-old boy gushed about Kohberger in one of her many Facebook postings.

“One way to characterize my feelings for him during the previous week or so… is to be lovesick.”

Hislope began openly tweeting about her crush on Jan. 4, just five days after Kohberger was arrested in connection with the tragic Nov. 13 stabbings of four college students in Moscow, Idaho.

Hislope, who frequently cites her and Kohberger’s astrological signs — they’re both Scorpios — and birth charts as evidence of why he may be her “divine male counterpart,” isn’t simply captivated to the former criminology Ph.D. student for his intellect and calm courtroom demeanour.

“When it shows the love-making scene between the man and the woman who are two different characters in the movie, although it’s not very explicit, I’d want to be with my love interest Bryan in those ways,” she wrote, referring to a scene in the 1987 vampire film “The Lost Boys” starring Jason Patric and Jami Gertz.

Hislope had previously pined for local convicted killer Cody Hall, 33, who fatally murdered a 50-year-old man in Pulaski County, Kentucky, in 2017, before stabbing his sister and another woman with a machete.

“I visited him, put money in his [commissary] account, sent him letters, and I wanted to be in a faithful, committed [sic] relationship with him,” she said of Hall, who eventually barred her from seeing him in jail. “When I say I was in love with him, I mean totally and fully in love with him.”

In addition to her regular diaristic postings, Hislope claims to have sent letters and images of herself dolled up to Kohberger in Latah County Jail about her romantic intents.

“With my sentiments for Bryan, I’ve had to be truthful to myself in reaching out to him,” Hislope said in a cringey post last month.

Latah County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Shane Anderson refuses to disclose if Kohberger has received any correspondence from his not-so-secret lover.

Kohberger is being charged with four charges of first-degree murder in the deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin.

He has yet to accept a plea agreement, although one of his lawyers has stated that Kohberger “wants to be exonerated.” He is scheduled to appear in court again on June 26.

Multiple requests for comment from Hislope went unanswered. Family members were unable to be reached for comment.
