Franco Harris, a Running Back Player of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, passed away At 72.

According to Harris' son Dok Harris, he passed away overnight, and the cause of his father's death was still unknown.

Harris played for the Steelers in 19 postseason games, compiling 400 carries for 1,556 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.

In 1972, the Steelers finished 11-3 after selecting Harris 13th overall. This was Pittsburgh’s first winning season.
