COLORADO SPRINGS: Late night Saturday 19 Oct 2022, a mass Colorado shooting is at an LGBTQ nightclub. According to police early on Sunday, 5 people were killed and 18 others were hurt in an overnight shooting at an LGBTQ club, but the investigation cation is still going on.
Colorado Springs Police Department holds news conference on nightclub shooting
At 8 a.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department issued an update on the shooting. Watch the press conference in the video below:
At the press congress, the Colorado Police told that Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22 years old, has been identified as the main suspect. And Authorities said he was injured and subdued after being shot with a “long gun.”
The Police have custody of the suspect with the suspect’s two firearms and a long rifle.
The death and injured victims’ names have not yet been disclosed; we will do so as soon as they become public knowledge. The names of the witnesses are also kept a secret by the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Two ‘heroic’ people at Club Q fought with suspect, officials say
On Sunday, in honour of Transgender Day of Remembrance, Club Q, a location referred to as a gay and lesbian nightclub, was getting ready for a drag brunch. During this preparation, this shooting is held by a 22-year-old boy.
When the 22-year-old suspect in the Colorado Springs attack entered Club Q, he immediately began shooting at innocent people, and at least two people “confronted and fought” with him, officials’ statement by the witnesses.
According to Vasquez, head department of Colorado Police, the suspect, Anderson Lee Aldrich, used a “long rifle” during the shooting. He also stated that police discovered at least two firearms at the scene and that investigators are seeking search warrants.
Today the suspect is represented in the public court and the Defense attorney told, he is non-binary.
