RIP Randy: Randy Gonzalez, the father of the father-and-son Enkyboys TikTok duet, allegedly died on January 25 at the age of 35. According to TMZ, he lost his protracted battle with colon cancer.
Randy died this morning in a hospice, according to the source, after being upfront about his cancer diagnosis in April.
For those who are unfamiliar with the combo, Randy and his son Brice routinely created films that made their viewers grin.
Throughout Randy’s brief career, the social media partners amassed over 15.5 million followers on TikTok and 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
When Brice Gonzalez was cast in George Lopez’s Lopez vs. Lopez, which premiered last November, their social media virality made its way to television screens.
This change has been in the works since 2021 when the lovable team became a global phenomenon online thanks to their humorous antics.
The videos were so popular that comedian Steve Harvey included them on his Facebook Watch show, Steve on Watch.

Randy’s most recent Instagram post was an announcement of Brice’s presence on the Lopez vs. Lopez program, which aired on December 16. That same month, he gave his final TikTok update on how his treatment was done.
He sent an update, stating that he had returned to Texas and needed to adjust his treatment. “Enkyboy is still here,” he said. We haven’t blogged since I’ve been unwell all week. But we love you, we miss you, and we will return. “Remain strong.”
Randy used the Enkyboys’ social media outlets to raise colon cancer awareness in addition to fighting the disease and continuing to release lighthearted TikToks with his kid. Fans are lamenting the news and sharing their favorite footage of the two on social media.
Though one-half of the combo is no longer present, we want to continue witnessing Brice’s acting abilities blossom from what was once a father-and-son relationship. Randy, may you rest in peace.
