Céline Dion Reveals Diagnosis of Rare Neurological Disease Called Stiff Person Syndrome

Celine Dion shared an emotional Instagram video about her health, where she tearing for Stiff Person Syndrome a Rare Neurological Disease, and spoke she postpone a series of upcoming concert 2023 dates.

Celine Dion shared an Instagram video on a Tuesday morning, where she revealed that she has a rare Neurological disease which is called Stiff Person Syndrome.

Also, Dion shared all the details about the disease, and diagnosis news, after that she revealed that she had postponed all the world tours because of this affected disease.

What is Stiff Person Syndrome Neurological Disease? 

According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), It is a rare and incurable neurological disease that can cause debilitating muscle spasms.

Stiff-person syndrome (SPS) is a rare neurological disorder with features of an autoimmune disease.  SPS is characterized by fluctuating muscle rigidity in the trunk and limbs and a heightened sensitivity to stimuli such as noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms.

Back to the superstar singer Celine Dion’s announcement on their verified Instagram account, she has stiff-person syndrome, which can cause debilitating muscle spasms, She was only 54 years old, and because of her rare disease “millions of fans are affected”.

Dion has shared two emotional videos in two different languages one is in English And another is in the French language. 

The video is very emotional and she is speaking about her rare Stiff Person Syndrome disease with tearing.

Celine, the Canadian singer has told that she has canceled the series’ upcoming concert because of  Neurological Disease.

She had written “I am rescheduling a series of some Spring 2023-24 shows, and I cancel eight summer 2023 shows.

And later she told me that  I am dealing with a rare neurological problem for a very long time ago, and now recently I facing some health challenges, which is can’t be handled anymore, It hurts me so I won’t be ready to restart my world tour in Europe anymore in upcoming February 2023.
