On behalf of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police have issued an Amber Alert for Erin Brunett, 3, and Jalie Brunett, 6, who have been taken.

The youngsters were last spotted at 56044 N. Cooper Road, Loranger. They were taken on Thursday, June 13, before 8 a.m.

Erin Brunett is a Caucasian woman with brown hair and eyes. She is roughly 3′ tall and weighs about 32 pounds. It is unclear what she was wearing when she was taken.

Jalie Brunett is a Caucasian woman with brown hair and blue eyes. She is roughly 4′ tall and weighs about 58 pounds. It is unclear what she was wearing when she was taken.

An unknown white guy is sought for interrogation over a domestic violence episode that happened during the kidnapping and culminated in a homicide.

According to detectives with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, Callie Brunett, 35, of Loranger, was discovered dead in her house Thursday morning after being absent for more than 24 hours.

The individual sought for questioning is thought to be driving a black 2012 Chrysler 200 with the Louisiana license plate 859GML. The vehicle’s rear right tire does not have a hubcap. There may be damage to the vehicle’s back.

The driver of this vehicle is believed to be armed and dangerous. Extreme caution should be used.
